I guess I agree with Roy. I saw him at the NBA Store in NYC and I can tell you the guy looks awkward just walking

Not an NBA player

A very poor defender + very poor rebounder + reluctant passer + an inefficient shot happy scorer

I'm sure he could find a role coming off the bench for some team. If he wants any significant playing time, in my opinion he needs to be really good at something. He needs to be relied on for something.

Look at Shannon Brown - he flies high and has energy, but he's not regarded as a great all-around player, and look at the time he gets. If Adam can excel at something, he'll find a role on a team somewhere. I'd love to see him break out.

It's not looking good but I'm still rooting for him. Maybe if he can get into the right system, :-\
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

His rookie year might have been one of the worst ever.

Force fed minutes and shots with utterly awful production.

Maybe the Lakers should showcase him in the Finals.
Of course they should.  They can't be playing their starters or quality bench when the C's are blowing them out in the second half in the Finals!   ;D

  • Rondo = Good
He needs to go refine his game in Europe, and maybe grow a backbone.
Never forget the Champs of '08, or the gutsy warriors of '10.

He seems like a true example of someone who lacks the drive to become a player. Perhaps success was bad for him, allowing him to coast.

However if our former hero WALLY can play for a number of years and be semi successful for a time than Morrison should be able to contribute to some team.

I think Wally lasted in the NBA because of his good looks.  Seriously, he is the prettiest player ever.  He could get his shot off because defenders were blinded by his effervescent smile and piercing eyes.

Morrison, on the other hand...

I can see Adam developinhg a good game overseas first, and work his way back into the NBA.His skill set would work perfectly in the euro-league.

I wonder how much his Diabetes prevented him from transitioning to the hyper-athletic NBA.

NBDL OR overseas.  Problem with Morrison is he'd have an easy time getting his shot off in the NBDL because it's a relatively short league.
