Well, he handled it well, and doesn't have a rep of showing up and not being able to perform.

He showed up for work the next day, and earned his check.

Boy did he perform, too...game winning shot and all.

No I do not care PP was gambling and drinking even to the point of being a little tipsy the night before a playoff game.

But Ive been around a lot of 6'7" guys who are drinking and if any of you think he'd be tipsy after 2 glasses of wine well I am not sure where to start. It takes a lot more with a big guy.

PP has no history of problems and I doubt he'd start now

I think Paul has proven himself as a reasonably responsible adult ... I don't have a problem with this at all, (I was a bit surprised to see it still getting mileage). Go Celtics!

I believe the story, but its a known thing Pierce likes the libations. He drinks some during the season but he really puts em back during the offseason.  It doesn't seem to effect him too much though, or doesn't appear to.
