Rajon Rondo's Defense

Did you guys watch how Rondo defended for the most part in this first half tonight? This is what good defense is all about. When you see me complaining about Rondo's defense, it's because he's not playing defense like he should, and he's doing it so far tonight.

He is playing well defensively.  When you see how TA defends though, you realize how important size and strength is.  TA absolutely suffocated Arroyo.

100% agreed. That was a magnificent team defensive performance without KG and reason number 1 is Rondo. He's looking like he has his energy back plus some extra. Even on that play where he fouled Chalmers hassling him it was a smart play because there were slightly more than 2 minutes left (if the team has less than 5 it sets to 3 fouls at 2 minutes no matter what) and the Cs weren't near the team limit.

If you look at the box score right now it doesn't even show in his stats but Rondo (as expected) has been the team's key player.
