This is the REAL problem with this Celtics team--and it has been since the Championship year...We were just younger in 2008 and could overcome it better.
We saw it again in the last Chicago game...The Bulls went on an 18-2 run, and then a 14-4 run later. We saw it in a Cleveland game + an Orlando game (2 horrible losses in games we were up).And it's happens a TON more.
Why do they happen time and time again?...There has to be something inherently wrong with Doc River's offensive game plan...Is it because they only work on Defense in practice? ie:The Offense will take care of itself....Or something else?
I think it's Doc ALWAYS yelling about the EXTRA pass--which is nice in theory, but it makes our Offensive punch WEAK as hell at times (Look at how many good shots get passed up for "better" ones)--Then it Snowballs into an 18-2 run for the other team...I don't think it has to do with players NOT following the plan.
We might have lost to Clev in the playoffs 2 years ago, if Paul Pierce didn't take it upon himself to be more "selfish".
