  • You say when......
I am watching Bynum play...reminds me of what perk could do. Is Perks knee hurting, well I hope it isn't, but that is the only way to explain his game for the last 2-3 months. You should see Bynum...DUNKING mad on everyone, rebounding mad on everyone, So, what's it gonna be Mr Perkins...do you want it, watch Bynum, HE WANTS IT..are you better than him..?

Bynum is a much better offensive player than Perk.  Perk is a much better defensive player.

Also, OKC doesn't have anyone in there that can actually challenge him.

I have seen Perk play like that, it has been a while...maybe you guys let him off the hook a little too easily huh? 7 feet tall, in shape, strong as Orlando's guy, and he doesn't dunk much...enough..Lets see, say you are....like 7 feet tall, so, your arms are 3-4 feet long, basic math here, the rim is 10 feet.......Bang, its in the hole.

Perkins at peak health has never dunked over someone in one motion after turning middle like Bynum did to Krstic.  Bynum is a much bigger, more athletic and more coordinated guy.

I still don't understand why Perk hasn't or couldn't..does he need to be 8 feet tall..?

Perk not even close to the talent that Bynum is.  Offense or defense.  Not even close.

That said, Perk is certainly tougher and plays with more heart.

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
A healthy Bynum is better than Perk, but Bynum's almost never healthy. Bynum's a better scorer, rebounder, and finisher equal shotblocker, but lesser defender. The only things I give to Perk over Bynum are durability, physicality, and strength.

I hate to admit this, but I agree with the above poster. Bynum is better than Perk and unfortunately is getting better. However, the injury bug always keeps him down, which is good for the rest of the league.

Perkins can neutralize Bynum one-on-one, he just can't do what Bynum can do to below-average/undersized centers.
