The C's tied for the 19th-22nd pick in the draft (50-32 tied with SA, OKC, Port).  I imagine they'll be flipping a coin any day now to decide the positioning for the first round.

That's a pretty big swing to move up 3 slots (especially with teams who have decent draft history).  Danny can find a gem with 19, I bet, and that's key because it's time to start adding young talent!

TP for first person who knows when the coin flip is.

I thought it was the same day they do the draft lottery, but I could be wrong.
“Being a Celtic is, every decision you make is about the team. Every cut you make is about the team. Every pass you make is about the team. You take yourself out of it. It’s not for everyone. If you don’t want to win, don’t want to play team basketball, and it’s more about you then you’re probably not a Celtic." Doc 2010

Yeah, in the very least I don't remember flips happening before the lottery ping pong bonanza day.

Recently, the coin flip to determine lottery order is usually done around somewhere between the 17th - 22nd of April.

Last year, it was on April 17th.  I believe the drawing is usually on a Friday, and if that holds true to form, the coin-flips / drawings will take place either tomorrow or next Friday.

This is conjecture, but regardless, it will be soon.

It would make sense if they do it tomorrow.  No games, so they can have something to try to draw some viewers to watch NBATV.  It allows them to sneak in some headlines before the games actually start.

If they wait any longer, the headlines will be filled, because of the actual playoff games, not to mention the NFL draft.

This is a pretty big event for our franchise because all of those teams tied with us are money in the draft usually.

Wait a minute. I thought there was some kind of rule that a division champ gets the lower pick if tied with another team that hasn't won his division.     ???

That's the tie-breaker for playoff seeding, rather than draft position.
