The good news is that we are winning with defense.  For the past week or so, It's suffocating and tenacious.  Forcing a 24secs violation on an NBA team is hard and the Cs are doing it time and time again as of late.  That's all good,

The one thing that can't be overlooked is that PP(our closer) still lacks the lift, foot work and speed and it's a bit worrisome to me.  We can get by for now, but come playoff time, I hope his full strengh is back.

Overall, I am very happy to see that defense is back and hopefully we can blow teams in the first 3 quarters so that the lack of a reliable closer won't be the difference between a win and a loss.

The next step they need to make is the finishing touches on defense.

They need to rebound as a team.  Everyone putting a body on someone.  Everyone crashing the defensive boards.

They need to get back to that one shot defense.

I'd add putting the right part of themselves on a body.  The positioning on the rebounding is so fundamentally poor.

it's like this:

Yup

No "buts" ... we're heading in the right direction. (TP for at least a partially optimistic post ;)).

No.  That part of the problem with the reboundings.  They are playing with no 'buts'.
