Hey, so in the Herald yesterday it was quoted that doc "asked" KG and PP to maybe sit out a bit if they would be so kind and maybe have some real fundamental practices...."hey guys, come on please go to practice...and maybe bring AI too..!" So if they didn't have many practices, how did doc determine that sheldon didn't "get it", or Walker either...?  If they weren't running much practices.........well, what were they doing during the losing hurt stretch......It is like I said before, KG and PP run this team, it was apparent back when KG was out, and not even at the game, the losing started...! "Hey Doc, how did you get those court-side seats..?"

Thats a very good point, I didn't think of it that way. Maybe it was just the stars on our team that were not practicing? But if you're right, then I'm at a total loss for his logic. I'm already not so sure about the job he's done this year, if this is true, there won't be a question in my mind about it.

Back to wanting Joe fired.

Well, I read it yesterday, but i got angrier as i went, so i don't remember it verbatum....I don't really care for doc's style, and i still think kg, ray, pp, perk and leon pretty much won without much input from anyone (The Championship) and to think that doc hardly played leon till very late that year, he didn't until January that year.... Why..? I mean the whole team contributed, but from what i have seen since, i don't think docs wisdom had anything to do with winning anything.... He is just a good guy with good seats who hangs around with the team...! Doc; "Hey what are you guys doing tomorrow, want to meet at the gym and shoot some hoops, maybe have the whole team show up..?"...

Shelden punched his friend, and then started crying during team practices that the team didn't have time to have.  Thats why Baby took his minutes.

interesting perspective - this group sure has been hard to follow this season. i wonder if danny has the balls to get a stronger voice on the bench in here next season - this bunch has tuned Doc out. it's just the natural progression in the NBA.

remember what larry bird said when he retired from coaching the Pacers, "he said he usually tuned a coach out after 3 years, that's the norm in this league.

well, it's year 3 Danny.

My theory is that Doc doesn't have any intention of coaching here after the Big 3 are definitely done.  He doesn't like rebuilding, playing young guys and, of course, losing.  But another rising team that has sufficient veterans to win would see Doc as the perfect next coach.  And if not, well, he could always return to the announcers booth for a season or two.  Besides, he'd really love to be able to see all of Austin's college games in person, and he could more easily do that while announcing for a couple of years.

I hear what some of you are saying about a team tuning out a coach after 3 years. I'm just thinking what would the next coach do? Stress defense?

I think the team might tune out anyone saying that.

So what does he stress? Offense? I don't think this team can really run.

Maybe they could try effort.  It might be a radical new concept for the players and they could really try to buy into that

the next coach would demand effort and not put up with any crap - if he was the right guy.
