I wish him all the best because I know how tough it can be to struggle with alcohol problems.

Sounds like he needs some serious help (drinking scotch in front of an officer).

Not a good start to things for one of my longtime keeper players.

C'mon Miggy, get your act together.

This is actually a well-known move to avoid DUI conviction in some circles.  If you're pulled over while potentially over the limit, chug alcohol in front of the officer.  This means in court you can argue that they can't prove you were over the limit while driving, because the drinking after being pulled over might have done it. (BTW, I am not recommending this, just saying I've heard of this "strategy" several times before)

It wouldn't surprise me if Cabrera did this intentionally based on past advice from an agent, attorney, or other players.  Still a sad situation though, I hope he can clean himself up.

After you have been pulled over for DUI yes. It is pretty bad.

Can't wait to see what his Blood Al. Level was.

You got to be  prety hammered, or be crying out for help inside to do what he did. Allegedly.

Sounds like a major cry for help.  Clearly this guy has some major issues, and hopefully he can work them out, before someone else gets hurt because of it.
