At his age, Finley is strictly a SF on D, right?

I'd assume he would definitely be SF. People don't even think Pierce can play SG at his age so I don't see how Finley could be. I guess if the assumption is that he would only play about 5 min a game or so than maybe it doesn't really matter.

If somebody had told you at the beginning of the season that this would have been our roster, who would have complained?

C:  Perk / Rasheed
PF: KG / BBD / Scal
SF: Pierce / Daniels
SG: Ray / Tony / Finley
PG: Rondo / Robinson

Inactive: Landry, Williams

Now, obviously the team is a little disappointing now, but as a fan, I can't say that Danny did a poor job assembling talent.  Objectively, I've got to be very happy with that roster, even if it is a little long in the tooth.

I do wish the players would play harder, and the coaching staff would do a better job of motivation (and with rotations).  Danny probably isn't completely without blame, but I think his current role in our slump is, at worst, minimal.

pst...wiliams is better than scal
now that we have finley
I agree.

I loved the off-season moves at the time, and I’m still thinking those moves could pay off. I also like the nat-quisition at the trade deadline, but I’m disappointed the C’s didn’t pick up Tyrus Thomas.

I love Tyrus Thomas. But dude sounds like even more of a head case than the Ornery Child. TT sounds like a retarded knucklehead.

I'm sure the brain doc killed this acquisition plan long ago.  ;D

This brain doctor didn't  ;) I agree he is probably a mental midget... I mean a mental little person... Well, he's not little as he is 6'8... Whatever. You get the point. He is a tool, but I would really like to see the C's with an athletic combo-forward who has a mid-range game, can run the floor, finish in traffic, and defend. That does sum up TT.  Sadly, it use to sum KG.
“Being a Celtic is, every decision you make is about the team. Every cut you make is about the team. Every pass you make is about the team. You take yourself out of it. It’s not for everyone. If you don’t want to win, don’t want to play team basketball, and it’s more about you then you’re probably not a Celtic." Doc 2010

I think the rotation  might be this

C: Perk/Sheed/Williams
PF: KG/BBD/Scal
SF: PP/Finley/Landry
SG: Ray/Quis/TA
PG: Rondo/Nate

I love TA on defense but he's still painful to watch on offense. If Finley doesn't suck on defense I think he takes minutes from TA if he doesn't do so well on defense (but he comes from a defensive culture in SA so he's capable) then I think TA is ahead of him in the rotation and he gots spots minutes if not its the reverse

Would it be possible to sign an athletic 4 and bench BBD? It happened to Powe for a bit. Between injuries and the discussion of Davis or Powe, it seemed Davis won in the end. Could we not just do the same for a new 4 like Sean Williams or Stromile Swift..maybe even Sheldon. I dunno, but Davis is trash in our rotations. That move he makes(Pump fake on the right, come up the on the left side and get stuffed) I cringe EVERY TIME>
Can't stop, Rondo!

We locked up Rondo long term. And we signed not just Sheed, but also Robinson, Daniels, Finley, and BBD.

If somebody had told you at the beginning of the season that this would have been our roster, who would have complained?

Who would have objected to this lineup?
