With his performanc flatlining a bit, this makes you wonder if Al has become a little bit more of a partier this season. I could be wrong, but he really seemed to give off the straight laced vibe when he was with the celtics. Then again he was under 21 for half his time here.

Yeah because being under 21 has stopped kids from drinking before.  ::)

Seriously though sad to see, but glad nobody was hurt.  I'm sure a majority of the league drinks and drives but only a small portion actually gets caught.  Hopefully this is a one time thing with Big Al.

Would it surprise anyone if Rasheed admitted to smoking pot on a daily basis?

Not that it would stop you from drinking. However, when you are a celebrity and it is well known you are under 21, you definietely canT be seen out and about at clubs dirnking. It would be harder to be out and enjoying the nightlife at that age. That was my point.

Timberwolves big man Al Jefferson was arrested and charged with DUI early Sunday morning.

His court date isn't set until after the regular season ends and the Timberwolves have no playoff plans, meaning Jefferson won't like be disciplined until the first game of next season, if at all.

Another OUI? I'm starting to think drinking and driving is mandatory in the NBA.... I mean, it's amazing how much this happens in a league where every player can afford a cab ride.

Put him on the all Vin Baker team! Vin at center Big Drunk at the four, Gary Payton (Vin's mentor) at point, Melo at the two, and My boy Twan at the three, with Sir Charles coming off the bench.  Oh and rasheed rolling doobies on the bench, "Booze don't lie"

What about Ron "Halftime Hennessy" Artest?
My bad, Ron Henny Artest, makes it too. It's hard to keep tract of all the Lush's in the game.

Josh Howard needs a spot on the bench.

If I was Al, I'd be drinking too...the poor guy is stuck playing for a crap team in Minnesota
He wanted to be the top dog on the team. He's paid millions for that. I don't think anyone should feel sorry for him.
