absolutely. i was thinking the whole game how good she was and it seemed obvious that even though she is not a former (nba) player or coach she somehow gets inside access, hope we see more of her
she did say one thing where I swore at the TV, it was about some aspect of one of our player's game where she didn't know what she was talking about, (and I can't remember what) but hey that happens with JVG 3 or 4 times a broadcast, "What I wanna know is how they pick players for the 3-point contest, no really, pp, is third best 3 point shooter on his team, on his own team, how does that....to me...to me...to me...." blah, blah, blah
oh, wait, I remember, she was praising perk and one of the things she listed was that he doesn't need or ask for offense to be run for him. that hasn't been true for awhile now.
thought she was especially good in talking about KG's movement from end to end, which is something a live viewer can see better than us at home, and kg did seem to be getting from end to end much better, which was a relief.
if we get something close to the old kg plus last nights defense, rebounding, and general energy to lose balls the rest of the league better be careful or we just might get another 'heart of a champion' speech.
Perk wants more touches - but he does not slack on the "little things" ... just being natural. Still sets a mean mean screen - of course he sets a couple of illegal ones along the way, but that's part of the Celts game plan ... when it can flatten Vujacic it can't be that bad.
Burke is excellent - some days are better than others ... but she takes the job seriously and does not use cliches for the most part. Unlike Kenny or Charles or Reggie Miller, she actually has seen the teams she comments on.
