McGrady buyout?

Just speculating here, but if TMac gets bought out would we be interested?

If TMac wants to showcase himself he could go to NY and play in an uptempo system and then be done once the regular season ends. However, if he were to play for a title contender and both accept and flourish in a supporting role it would probably cause his stock to rise as some of the whispers of him not being a team guy would be greatly diminished.

Think he could do some things for our team IF healthy. He could spell PP or RA and we wouldn't lose much in terms of scoring. Also like the fact that he played for Doc.

Just a thought since it looks like aside from the Nate deal our only chance to improve will be through buy outs.

I think most people say no but I would absolutely love this in a low risk situation. My guess is that now he is in NY, he will just stay there. Sac would have been a different story

I didnt think so either but rethinking it, shouldn't they be tanking the rest of the way to ensure they dont lose that top 5 protected pick? McGrady would make them a better team, but do they want that?
