The reasoning for each team?
For Sacramento: They move their two worst contracts, while getting back a $17 million expiring contract who just happens to be the best shooter in the NBA, and the big man that they've been looking for in Perk. Their team also gets much deeper and smarter with veterans Perk and Allen.
Sacramento lineup:
Tyreke Evans/Beno Udrih/Sergio Rodriquez
Ray Allen/Donte Greene/Ime Udoka
Omri Casspi/Donte Greene/Ime Udoka
Jason Thompson/Sean May/Kenny Thomas
Kendrick Perkins/Spencer Hawes/Hilton Armstrong
For Boston: They get younger
fast. The Celtics trade away their aging veterans, and get their shooting guard of the future to put next to Rondo, as well as Rondo's backup in DJ.
Tyson Chandler and Francisco Garcia's contracts are the worst part of this deal. However:
1) Tyson only has one year left on his gaudy contract, and we've seen how well he is capable of playing with a top notch PG with the Hornets. Rondo would be the best thing to happen to Chandler in a while.
2) Francisco Garcia is returning from a wrist injury very soon, and has proven himself to be a very capable role player who is capable of starting whenever Pierce is injured/retires. His defense is suspect, but so was Ray's and Paul's before Coach Thibs and KG came around.
http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Francisco-Garcia-123/Boston lineup:
Rondo/Augustine/House
Martin/T Allen/Daniels
Pierce/Garcia/Daniels
KG/Davis/Williams
Chandler/Davis/Williams
For Charlotte: Larry brown has always prefered veteran experience over youthful but inexperienced raw talent. That said, he gets Sheed back on the same team as him, as well as a smart and versatile defender and shooter in Nocioni. Charlotte gets much smarter with more veteran leadership. Charlotte's lineup is quite versatile, and can run a very small or very big lineup.
Charlotte lineup:
Raymond Felton/Flip Murray/Acie Law
Stephen Jackson/Flip Murray/Acie Law
Gerald Wallace/Stephen Jackson/Boris Diaw
Rasheed Wallace/Boris Diaw/Diop
Nazr Mohammed/Rasheed Wallace/Diop
