i agree 100%. their attitude this year sucks. I hate to blame it all on one guy, but......it's Rasheed!

but really he's just the scapegoat, a team wins and loses as a whole and right now the whole team is under-acheiving.  They need a shake-up. They can't get rid of Rasheed, but would playing Scal ahead of him help?

yeah right, like that would ever happen..but i'd much rather see Scal out there trying (like in last years playoffs) then someone like Rasheed out there loafing. Win or lose, at least you could cheer for the effort.

TP.  I'll cheer for the C's if they're playing hard, no matter the record or score.  I have no patience for the crap effort they put on for 12 minutes out of every game.

Doc...player's coach...he was supposed to be one of the reasons players would WANT to come to Boston, but it turns out the players really just want to be paid.

I would really like to see what Jim O'Brien would ever do with a really good team AND the backing of management.  I hope he gets one someday.

The REAL reason is that KG isn't half the player he was before he was injured. With a healthy Daniels, if KG was the player he was in 08 we are beating teams with ease. Unless KG gets completely healthy, and its possible he may never get there, this team isn't going to win anything past a first or second round playoff series at best. Here's who are championship caliber pieces of the puzzle:

PP
Rondo
Daniels
Perk
House

Sometimes there guys:

Ray
Sheed
KG

Every once in awhile:

BBD
TA

Not given the opportunity so it really doesn't matter:

Shelden
Scal
Walker
Giddens

You just aren't going to win without Ray and KG and Sheed playing at the level of the first group. Face it guys. Without a major shakeup or health improvement we aren't getting past the second round.

We SUCK!!!!!

There is no other way to sugarcoat this.

Danny Ainge came up short this off-season by gambling on the rash weed.

That and KG and PP are both hurting units.

Maybe Marquis Daniels can give us a spark. Maybe Glen Davis can take over at PF.

Maybe Ray Allen, Sheed, and KG get traded to Minnesota for Al Jefferson, Gomes, Bassy (oops maybe he is LA). Maybe trade Perkins for Kaman.

Keep Rondo. He appears the only one who gives a RATS ASS.

You can warn me about CUSSING! BUT THE CELTICS DESERVE TO BE CUSSED OUT!
Wins are few, times are hard. Here is your bleeping St Patricks Day Card.

I don't think they're too old. They may have too many injuries ( both KG and Pierce just don't look right )...

But I agree with others, the biggest problem to me is attitude and toughness, both mental and physical.

Disgusting really.

Daniels is not a miracle worker. He is a sub. We have enough problems with the starting 5 to think a sub will cure our maladies. Several of our main competitors have gotten stronger and are younger; We just got a little older and with oldness comes injuries; and injuries with older players just take a little longer to get well.
In 2008 we had group of older statesmen that had never won a pennant and they had that as a goal before they retire. Well, they played their hearts out and they got their ring. They reached their lifetime goals.
After 2008 the composition of the team changed and our competitors started making changes too.I believe we lagged behind cause we had the best three players in the world; they we just a year older. Well,we didnt make it last year for whatever reasons. Im not sure we could have beaten the Lakers. They were better than the year before.
This year it has gotten worse. Injuries have afected our game and nothing guarantees that more injuries are not forthcoming. The dieheart desire is not there anymore. And we are talking about a dinasty?
