FIXING this team might be as simple as Doc ACTUALLY working on OFFENSE in practice...He never does-he thinks everything is predicated on Defense....Hmmm, the next time we build a big lead and the opposing team starts to play a little defense of their own---I'd like our team to NOT look like a DEER IN HEADLIGHTS.

This is kinda how we've been losing these leads---teams go on big runs, cause we Completely stop scoring( 11 points in the 3rd ? )...Doc needs to come up with some kind of fail safe offense...maybe he should ask Tommy for help, cause he has no clue.

I do agree that the offense could use a boost. With our turnover-proneness and our low FGAs we really can't waste possessions. One of the things that frustrate me lately is hearing Doc talk mostly about the defense after a loss where problems on offense played a major part as well.

I've never understood how a team with a good number of talented and efficient scorers regularly goes through the kind of offensive droughts we've seen during the past couple of seasons. It's fine to work on defense and all but it doesn't hurt to upgrade the offense especially if the team is having trouble defending like they used to.
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.
