Scouts from the Kings/Wolves

Perhaps they are looking to see what Ray Ray can do?

Yeah, they probably haven't seen enough footage and reports about Ray, it's not like he's been playing for 14 years in the league.

I find it funny that things like this get reported, because I feel pretty confident that scouts from different teams are at just about every game.  It is only news when someone is looking for a story.  Scouts jobs are to scout players, and go to games.  I don't think their presence at a certain game means much of anything. 

Now, if the GM was in the stands, that's a different story.

Everyone knows what Allen can do. If a team is trading for him it'll have more to do with his expiring contract than it does with his actual pay. I'm guessing they might be looking more at BBD (Kings said to want a big man) or perhaps even TA, who has probably gained some attention with his recent play and comes with minimal risk (expiring deal).

He is not playing as well this year as he has in past years. You have to evaluate players every day, not go off past performance.

I think it is great news for the Kevin Martin rumors that the Kings were at the game. Makes me think that Sacto is at the very least considering it.

Not sure what the wolves were doing there. Maybe Big Al is the big man the Kings covet if they are going to move Kevin Martin. That would fit the bill of what the Kings want in a trade.

Do we play both those teams again this season? They might have been advance scouts. Another possibility is that they were looking at some Nets players not sure who that could be though.

Yes. When David Griffin from the Suns (Vice President, Basketball Ops) went to go see Iguodala and the sixers play the hornets..that's a big deal.

The Wolves have Flynn now and are waiting to hand the job to Rubio in the future so I don't see why they have need of him.

The Kings are said to be looking for a big man but I guess they could have interest in Harris. I thought the Kings liked playing Evans at point though?

The point is, those scouts are at a different game every night.  They are scouts, it is their job.  The fact that they happen to be at a Celtics game 2 weeks before the trade deadline does not necessarily mean anymore than them being at a heat game in the middle of December, or at a Lakers game tomorrow night.

Celtics play the Kings Feb 16th, maybe that's why they were there. Minny is done with both Boston and New jersey this season so my guess is they were there looking at someone. Remember, Bill Walker got some burn against the Nets. My dream would be,

Scalabrine, House and Walker for Gomes and Sessions.
