alright my post got modded no idea why so I'm gonna go ahead and say the exact same thing again:
good thing we got rid of Lester Hudson and kept JR Giddens, its not like Giddens sucks has no idea what he's doing on the court, so I completely understand the choice to keep the proven failure over the guy who has shown nothing but promise.
Idiotic move by Danny Ainge - and don't tell me "money" because they both are on rookie contracts. Yes, keeping Hudson and cutting Giddens would have cost a few hundred thousand more, but in the NBA that's peanuts.
Giddens money is guaranteed. There would be no reason to cut Giddens unless we were signing someone. We had to make a decision on Hudson before the money was guaranteed. The team's decision was that Hudson wasn't worth it. The Giddens situation is completely irrelevant.
The 400k is peanuts argument is incredibly weak. If the aren't going to use him, why bother? Let him go and the money can be used elsewhere.
