sheed played some pretty good defense yesterday and vs the magic...and in a 7 game series he is going to be very important.

I kind of remember Gasol going by him at least once if not twice for easy baskets and also recall him getting three or four of his famous don't move but just slap at the guy going by fouls. He deflects the ball occasionally, which looks good, but I really do think he is lazy and plays hard half the time on the court. He is far from the main problem on this team, but he is a small part of it.

i also remember him cutting Kobe off at the FT line and not fouling as kobe went up for the shot....great defense there...i am more concerned about his offense...love him down low but dont think sheed is the problem many are saying he is

I guess my problem is I can't stand watching him play (and I wanted them to sign him!) and don't like the way he plays. Plus, he is childish and I am sick of the yelling at the refs. I actually am looking forward to him starting to rack up the suspensions as soon as he reaches technical #16.

I remember three Pau Gasol dunks due to poor defense from Rasheed

(1) a dunk from Pau in transition in large part due to Sheed's lackadaisical running down court + poor positioning.
(2) one dunk after Gasol faked a hand off 23 feet from the basket, two dribbles down the middle of the lane and dunk. Sheed was statuesque.
(3) another dunk when Sheed tried to deflect the post entry pass but missed, leading to a wide open dunk for Gasol
