This is getting ridiculous.

You've summed it up perfectly.  This is a broken record.

Remember, at the beginning of the season, how happy everyone was that these excellent officials got a contract, and we didn't have to play with scabs?

We just couldn't stand refs calling things like travelling and stuff.

We wanted refs who understood the flow of the game, and didn't interupt it with calling things that are against the rules.

We didn't want refs making calls that decided games, often even if it was the right call.

We only want refs to call certain fouls, not "petty" ones.

Really, we want refs who understand that the rule book is only a suggestion for how to put on a show called "NBA Basketball", not actual rules that define how the game is to be played.

And then we complain about the calls?  Seriously?

This isn't Euroleague.

Who the hell said any of the things you're asserting "we all said"? Check my post history I loved the replacement refs. I didn't give a crap about "flow" or whatever.

Well aren't you a purist.  You probably prefer college ball, then?  I'm sure you watch FIBA via a special satellite dish, too. Yeah, It totallyyyyy makes me a purist to not want to be generalized.

The point, which, in being so preoccupied being personally offended by a general postyou mean the post that generalized me. You should probably attack me for not accepting you're blanket stereotyping more, though., you may have not noticed, is that there is little point in criticizing NBA officiating.  There isn't, and never was, any pretense that the call a close game, or even a consistent one. There is a point. Maybe MLK shouldn't have tried to change America. Yeah, we should all give up because things are hard.

The "all" included most players, coaches, and all of the media, along with many fans who didn't appreciate the  unpredictability Yeah that's basically a lie..  But it was pretty clear that using replacements resulted in a different game.

Poor 'Sheed.  After so long in the league, he hasn't figured it out.  The result?  Poorer 'Sheed.

Dude, lighten up.  It's not about you, no matter what the voices say.

That's your response?  That's straight up trolling.  Keep that crap off Celticsblog, thank you.  We don't like bombastic, baiting posts that don't make sense.

If you read this forum when the replacement refs were around, you'd know most of the posters here loved them.  Maybe you are confusing celticsblog with the ESPN forums?
