Anybody have any ideas about which way I should go with this?

I have been a longtime user of Palm PDAs as my portable brain to keep my life organized.

I mostly use it for calendar, contact lists, password management, to-do lists and short notes. I like the way the Palm software handles these functions, and the ease with which I can sync the data to the various computers I use at work and at home.  One of the best features is that I can designate phonebook entries as private.  I put all my passwords and account numbers in a separate directory marked as private, and have to enter a password to access them.  This offers great protection if I lose the unit, or someone gets their hands on it.

My current Palm is starting to show signs of age, and it is only a matter of time before it goes belly up.

I started looking at what to replace it with, and I found that Palm is no longer in the PDA business, and it seems the Palm OS is fading away.

I thought about using my cell phone to take over the Palm functions, but the problems with that are difficulty in syncing with a computer, and the inability to block access to private records.

Creative solutions, anyone?

I use Blackberry and have never encountered any problems.

Much like with your Palm you can password protect anything/everything you want on your blackberry.

What does it sync to on your pc?
