It think that is an excellent choice for a Dog's name. SO good that I named my dog Rondo. She just turned 1 yesterday. here is a pic with her favorite Rondo toy when she was just 8 weeks old (oh my how she has grown).
I also got a 10yr old cat named Paul.
Our other cat (Allie) I usually call Big Al cause she's so large and in charge.
