So I now know Bill Wlaker can dunk and make layups from within 2 feet of the basket.

Can he play defense?
Can he pass?
Can he box out?
Can he play man on man defense?
Can he make good decisions?
Can he even make a shot outside of 2 feet?

Where are those highlights?

Sorry, dude, it's a real well done job putting together Walker's highlight dunks and such(if you did it), but it doesn't really tell me much about his ability as a player.

hey! what right do you have to actually demand a player be able to play the game of basketball before we idolize him?

mods!!! can we ban such thinking from cb?  ;D

Fair is fairlets see the highlight reel from Giddens, Scal or Hudson who apparently are better players :) lets also not forget Walker is youngr than all 3 and was going to be a much higher draft pick before his knee injury scared GMs off. Look at Blair at the spurs. All the evidence you guys have of Walker not being a player is a bunch of hearsay and the fact that he did not play in one game.

as for idolizing.... come on man sayong a kid should get a chance and talking about idolising are really quite far removed from each other, just a touch don't you think.

you are neither witty nor adept at sarcasm

that would be the most boring highlight reel ever  :-\

highlights never tell the entire picture, good or bad.

i watch highlight reels to be entertained, not to analyze. take them at face value and enjoy.

I've seen him in person. He has a fluid stroke. From three, just just midrange. He's a good defender. Good decisions, he boxes out, and he gets to the rim with ease.

Against D League talent because I've never seen that from him in NBA action or summer league.

True that's what highlights are supposed to be. But the OP was using the highlight's to promote not forgetting about Walker when it came time to doling out playing time.

I could put together a great highlight reel of Gerald Green but I wouldn't necessarily use that highlight reel as a tool for advocating he should be playing basketball for a team.

As I have already complimented Induna on, it was a well put together highlight reel. I just wouldn't use it as a way of claiming Bill Walker shouldn't be forgotten when it comes to playing time because the things I mentioned are probably more likely to get him playing time than his spectacular dunks. And yes, the man can certainly dunk like a champ.
