Lester is back in Memphis, maybe he will get a contract with the Grizzlies? I hope he finds a new team, I really liked him when he was in Boston and I don't want to see him put a "Gabe Pruitt".

From Wojnarowski's Twitter :

Quote
Memphis has been awarded Lester Hudson off waivers, a league source tells Y! Sports. The Celtics let the rookie point guard go this week.

Memphis had scouted Hudson a great deal at nearby Tennessee-Martin, before Boston had picked him with the 58th pick of June Draft.

Hudson's a Memphis native and will sit in stands with GM Chris Wallace tonight. "He's very happy," his agent, Lance Young, wrote in email.

It's kind of a two-sided thing, isn't it :) We want Doc to be flawless, but we want Lester to be succesful as well :)

Ainge makes the decisions when it comes to roster moves like cutting Hudson.

i think the memphis grizzlies will sign lester.  i don't know how the waiver system works but they picked at 36 and thought lester would fall through the draft.   i hope they do pick him up and give him a shot.

hell yes memphis is gonna give lester a real shot.

absolute bs i tell ya. Every player it seemed on the celtics team especially rondo was high on hudson. Hudson definitely taught rondo a thing or two imo

He won't be as nervous playing in memphis and actually should be pretty mad to be cut without be given a chance. I hope he rips us apart when we meet

Honestly so much better than house who has played like garbage this whole season

Can't say I'm surprised by this. Hudson was definitely the weakest link in my opinion. Should be interesting to see who the Celtics choose to fill the roster spot, though.
