Todd McShay over at ESPN Insider came out with his first mock draft of the season. He includes all draft eligible players so it's usually a bit more interesting than those that only puts seniors into their mock drafts.

http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/draft10/insider/news/story?id=4730972

For those that don't get Insider here

1.) St. Louis Rams  Ndamukong Suh, DT, Nebraska
2.) Tampa Bay Buccaneers  Eric Berry*, S, Tennessee
3.) Cleveland Browns  Derrick Morgan*, DE, Georgia Tech
4.) Detroit Lions  Gerald McCoy*, DT, Oklahoma
5.) Kansas City Chiefs  Russell Okung, OT, Oklahoma State
6.) Oakland Raiders  Carlos Dunlap*, DE, Florida
7.) Washington Redskins  Sam Bradford*, QB, Oklahoma
8.) Denver Broncos   Rolando McClain*, ILB, Alabama
9.) Seattle Seahawks  Trent Williams, OT, Oklahoma
10.) Buffalo Bills  Anthony Davis*, OT, Rutgers
11.) San Francisco 49ers  Joe Haden*, CB, Florida
12.) Pittsburgh Steelers  Bruce Campbell*, OT, Maryland
13.) San Francisco 49ers  Sergio Kindle, DE/OLB, Texas
14.) Houston Texans  Earl Thomas**, S, Texas
15.) Tennessee Titans  Jason Pierre-Paul*, DE, South Florida
16.) Atlanta Falcons  Navorro Bowman*, OLB, Penn State
17.) Baltimore Ravens  Dez Bryant*, WR, Oklahoma State
18.) Jacksonville Jaguars  Bruce Carter*, OLB, North Carolina
19.) New York Giants  Brandon Spikes*, ILB, Florida
20.) New York Jets  Bryan Bulaga*, OT, Iowa
21.) Miami Dolphins  Golden Tate*, WR, Notre Dame
22.) Arizona Cardinals  Jermaine Gresham, TE, Oklahoma
23.) Seattle Seahawks  Jimmy Clausen*, QB, Notre Dame
24.) Dallas Cowboys  Taylor Mays, S, USC
25.) New England Patriots  Ricky Sapp, DE/OLB, Clemson
26.) Green Bay Packers  C.J. Spiller, RB, Clemson
27.) Cincinnati Bengals  Marvin Austin*, DT, North Carolina
28.) Philadelphia Eagles  Vladimir Ducasse, OT, Massachusetts
29.) San Diego Chargers  Jonathan Dwyer*, RB, Georgia Tech
30.) Minnesota Vikings  Brian Price*, DT, UCLA
31.) Indianapolis Colts  Jared Odrick, DT, Penn State
32.) New Orleans Saints  Dan Williams, DT, Tennessee

Couple of points:

Suh is without question the number one pick and will remain so no matter who's mock draft you read.

Good to see a Minuteman make a mock draft in the first round. My son kept saying this guy would be a high draft pick. I never thought anyone would put him in the first round.

McShay has the Pats draft Sapp right in front of Spiller. I now what the Pats needs are but Spiller is a helluva talent to be available that low in the first round to pass by.

I don't see any way Clausen falls the Jaguars at 18. Just don't see any way the Jags pass him up. Garrard is a nice player but Clausen is a real pro passing style quarterback with grooming in a pro set offense.

Anyone who bypasses Eric Berry to take a lineman, should instantly by fired. Kid has "Ronnie Lott" written all over him.

This draft has a lot of quality in it down to about the 25th pick or so and then I see a drop off after that. The Seahawks could possibily draft two starters that will be playing for them for the next 6-8 years in this first round.

Thanks for the info.  Obviously it is very early, but it is always fun to think about the NFL draft.

The Pats have a lot of needs, and DE/OLB is up there, so I like that McShay has the Pats picking one.  But RB might be an even more important need for the Pats, so I agree with you Nick that if CJ Spiller is available, the Pats gotta pick him.

Another RB I like is Jhavid Best.

I figure they'll trade down....I'm getting used to that.

I hope whoever they pick has a lot of toughness and attitude.

I'd love it if they found a guy with some killer instinct who'd hit his own mother in the face to get a loose fumble.

Looking at that list I'm slightly attracted to a Taylor Mays, Jared Odrick, Brandon Spikes

I can't wait to see Suh in the NFL.  He's at least the most dominant interior lineman since Warren Sapp.

Suh is the definite no-brainer at #1.  Lots of defensive players in the Top 10.

I'm a bit surprised to see the gap between Bradford & Clausen.

I think he's more athletic than Sapp though Sapp was a better pure rusher coming out of college. That said, I look at Suh and see, and I know you'll appreciate how big a compliment this is Roy, Richard Dent.

Me too. There just no way he falls below where ever the Jags land though a top 10 makes more sense to me.

Also, I know I was raked over the coals for this in the other thread but I would definitel;y trade the Pats next three #1 picks(this year's and next year's two) to the Rams for their #1 pick and the rights to sign Suh. I really think he would instantly be the best player on that defense the minute he steps on the field. He's that good and worth the money, IMHO.

Okay, go crazy on me telling me how unlikely and dumb that is now. I still would do it in a heartbeat.

Speaking of Dent, he darn well better make the Hall of Fame this year.  He's overdue.

I definitely see the comparison in terms of their motor, and their ability to impact a game.  Suh is probably fast enough to play end, as well.

I've already told you how unlikely and dumb it sounds so I won't rehash and beat a deadhorse here.   ;)

In regards to the QBs, I'm just a bit surprised to see Bradford still in the Top 10 with some injury questions.  I don't really see a dropoff between him and Clausen.  I understand part of the gap is due to team needs but there are quite a few teams with quarterback questions before you get to #23 where Clausen is projected.

Yeah, Dent not getting in the Hall is a major head scratcher.

I wonder where Tebow will fall. 2nd round? 3rd round?

As for Richard Dent, it's time.

Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

I thought Pats got Oakland's number 1 pick in the Seymour trade.  Is that for the following year?
