meh. I'm gonna wait until we play LA to really start believing this stuff. We deserve it now though.

I think it is really amazing that Celtics only lose one game as they were away team. This statistics is far ahead of other teams, and no team can be comparable even Lakers or Magic. Moreover, DIFF is on the top of the league since the season started. It is quite hard and is the reason why they are qualified to be the first place. Celtic is stable and strong after 10 wins in series, rather than the stagger at the start of this season. I think they are prepared to win the next championship now.

I don't think you can really say that. Well I mean you CAN say it but it doesn't mean anything.

you could also say

The lakers won the NBA title last year, and upgraded the only part they lost. They're a half game back from first place in the league, despite having the 10th toughest strength of schedule.

Do we arguably deserve the title of #1 in the meaningless arbitrary power rankings AND the allegedly numbers driven but still seemingly arbitrary and meaningless Power Rankings? Sure we do, we have the best record in the league.

Can we say we're the best team in the league? Not until we beat the Lakers. That's what winning a championship means. It means no matter what until you really start losing (and 1 game isn't really losing. It's a hiccup), nobody can claim they're better than you.

Unless they have a comparable regular season record and beat you more than half the games you played during the regular season.

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
Well I think it's pretty clear that the Spurs are no longer in contender status. I can't believe they're just barely .500. Duncan just doesn't have the same impact and health is always going to be an issue with that team.
