I firmly believe we need A.I. because as good as our defense can be at times. Our offense goes on long dry spells when teams disrupts our offensive flow. Certain teams such as the Lakers & Magic have figured out the best way to beat us is make Rondo beat them. And when they incorporate that strategy early in the game it seems to cause choas within our whole offense throughout long stretches of the game, and sometimes the whole game. When Pierce doesn't have it going good we need another dynamic player who has more than just one niche. Iverson can get it going from 3, mid-range & most importantly driving the basketball to the painted area leading to foul trouble for the other team which would lead to easier points. In the 4th quarter I shouldnt have to hold my breath everytime Rondo is forced to shoot a jumpshot. Teams double Paul & spoon feeds jumpers to Rondo that he is hesistant or reluctant to take & he forces a pass somewhere or penatrates into trouble he has a uncanny ability to come out of most times. But we need an easier less stressful solution during crunch time. Also we need a lead gaurd who can shoot a free-throw in key moments of the game. We need instant offense we can call on throughout the game when Pierce is on the bench or doubled. We a little one dimensional as far as how we score points at the moment, its 3 or die right now so we need to shake things up with a proven performer who can do it anywhere inside that arc while creation his own offense without needing screens or designs of a set. Sometimes you just need a guy when a game gets ugly like lastnite & say forget plays, clear out & take over. I could be wrong but that is how I see it right now. We can use Iverson & he needs us for his legacy to stay credible. A.I. in Boston would be a lightning rod for our team & its a win-win for both sides. He will get his 28-30 mins a game & 17-20pts. somehow because he proves he can do that year in and year out. Iverson=18

-Where would those 28-30mins come from?

I like the idea of him coming off the bench in limited minutes, I think most teams would. The issue is getting Iverson to buy into that idea which seems highly unlikely.

At 9-4, I can see where some people may be panicking considering people were suggesting we may break the all time record for wins. But c'mon, Iverson?

Look, if everyone looked like they were playing hard every play, and practicing the way they should, then I'd be worried.  This isn't a personnel problem. It's a commitment problem.

That will come around.

Maybe that is the reason we do need Iverson. The guy has always been a warrior and if we are having trouble getting players to play hard in games, give it there all, and practice hard ( well maybe not that one, but hey it is "just practice we are talking about") then maybe A.I. would bring some of his passion to the team. I think the guy would be a big help. Hey, I dont even care much for Memphis and I live in the midwest.

Iverson is never going to be Celtic. Everyone who keeps talking about it is just wasting their breath. Stop.
