Do teams usually shake hands at the end of NBA games these days?  I felt that the Hawks made a grave error by not coming over to shake the C's hands after this game.  I feel that it would benefit them to show respect to the 2008 NBA Champs because it would take away any additional motivation the C's have in our future Hawks/Celtics' matchups.

No not too much in the NBA unless individuals know each other somehow then they'll give a quick hug, and hello etc...But I think the league has tried to discourage high fives & hand shakes in response to the Swine Flu anyhow.
