Have you noticed that CSN New England only markets Tommy's unvarnished opinion for an upcoming game when both ESPN and CSN are airing the same game (usually on a Friday)? I think it's amazing that Mike & Tommy continue to advertise their channel in favor of ESPN with this obvious coverup and nobody's said anything as of yet (that I know). It's not like they're doing anything wrong but it is definitely funny.  Personally, I like the 3rd perspective once in a while so when there is a conflict in which channel to watch I go with ESPN/ the national guys.

There are some national guys I won't watch, starting with Doug Collins.  When he runs on at the mouth with cliche after cliche it's like fingernails on a blackboard to me. Fratello and Mike Breen also rub me the wrong way.

But when Hubie Brown is doing a nationally televised game, I'll watch that, even if I also have to endure Breen.

I can't stand Hubie Brown. Every time I watch a game with Hubie, which is always out of necessity--meaning there is no one else broadcasting--he attempts to walk me through the game with our hands held.

They're all terrible, especially Mark Jackson. The only two I like are Gundy and Marv. I'd put the two of the together if I could.
Mike

(My name is not Mike)

TP, exactly, I know the guy knows a lot about basketball, but so do I, I don't need him to always explain what a pick and roll is, or how boxing out helps with rebounding.

Breen-Jackson-Van Gundy is my favorite crew by far. I used to like Dunleavy a lot before he went back to coaching.

(edit) Breen-Jackson-Van Gundy is not my favorite crew they are second to Gorman-Heinsohn, by far my favorite crew.
