It seems like Doc had some pretty good things to say about him. I'm glad to hear from him that Rondo's supposed attitude/character issues aren't that big of a deal:

Quote
“Rondo’s a good kid,” Rivers adds. “That’s one thing people don’t get. He’s a stubborn kid, a moody kid. He’s all of these things, but I’ve dealt with a lot of kids so far in coaching who were like that, and they weren’t good kids. That’s the saving grace for him -- he’s a good kid, and he wants to do right, so I’m not concerned by the times he’s stubborn and immature. He’s still young.”

gonna take a while to read that one but I can't imagine there being too much more information than we've already read about him this Fall
Faith and Sports - an essay by Jeff Clark

"Know what I pray for? The strength to change what I can, the inability to accept what I can't, and the incapacity to tell the difference." - Calvin (Bill Watterson)

That's the best quality of Doc, and most of my friends (nba fans but not C's fans) agree that his honest approach and always calm nature towards his players is probably the best in the league.

In the long run, that's invaluable.  I'm still only realizing what a great pick Danny made in choosing Doc for his coach.

I love the way he says "I have to be more consistent, i have to go hard whether it's Chris Paul or Rafer Alston"

He just flat out says it.

This quote still cracks me up. ;D

Not really nice from the author to re-use the old interview while not mentioning its date, though.
