The Rockets have a very good nucleus of role players and borderline stars, but are missing those elite players to put it all together. If they can somehow trade T-Mac for some good pieces, and keep a healthy Yao, they could start to look like those Pistons teams of a few years back.

Really, that's about all TMac is worth, some 15 mins per game off the bench. He hasn't lived up to his billing as a starter and if relegating him to the bench clears some salary cap, Houston can bring in another star caliber player to complement their starters.
