You realize that the goal of these polls is to increase the popularity of ESPN, not to make accurate predictions.

cant wait for the season to start :)

and i cant help but think back to the NBA finals 08 when Lakers were oh-so-heavily favoured that it was faintly embarassing. Glad the Celtics set the record straight. Frankly, I fear the Cavs more than the Lakers for some reason..

the some reason being a certain self-proclaimed King.. he is scary good...

Whoa now, let's not throw reality checks into the equation.   ;)

I'm with you.  The Lakers are super talented, but Kobe doesn't scare me like the scary good player you just mentioned.

Charlie Rosen has a nice breakdown of the Celtics vs Cavs on foxsports.com if anyone is interested.  He gives a slight advantage to the C's.

I thought Rosen's breakdown was superficial.  The Celtics bench is better than the Cavs bench, and that's why the Celtics will win. The only way Cleveland will defeat the Celtics is with major help from the officials (which LeBron gets, unfortunately).

At least the "experts" are beginning to realize that Orlando is not in the discussion of who will win the East.
