I had a vision. The worst thing that could ever happen to CB

did it involve the posting of some really dumb threads?
God bless and good night!

I thought the original post was funny. Some good dark humour.

Come to think of it I think the reason a lot of people don't like it is cause they love Obama.

if someone tried to get me to visualize Doug Flutie wearing a Lakers jersey and Yankees hat I would have been angry too

I didn't like it because you did the same type of post twice in one day.
God bless and good night!

My Vision

Celtics win in 4

Lakers organization participates in racial awareness day and discusses community tensions that led to Watts in '65 and the riots after the Rodney King beating - Magic Johnson awarded community achievement award - Celtics celebrated for 1st black starting five and 1st black coach - Bill Russell given lifetime award on center court in Inglewood

Bob Costas does a biopic comparing Bill Russell's legacy after basketball with Wilt Chamberlain's - e.g. thoughtful, courageous champion for human rights versus volleyball sex machine; an apt metaphor for the differences between Boston and LA

Obama welcomes Celtics to the White House - uses opportunity to list accomplishments: children's healthcare bill (SCHP); auto fuel economy standards raised; credit card reform; auto companies saved (and millions of jobs); bank stress tests (hundreds of billions in private capital flood into the banking sector); stimulus package (state budget crises averted - even Alaska, Minnesota, South Carolina and Louisiana take the money; millions of teachers and policemen stay on the job); GDP -6% in Q1, -0.7 in Q2, and 3.2% in Q3, an almost miraculous rebound in record time; the equity portion of people's pensions up 30+% come next March); Guantanamo closing begun; Iraq redeployment begun; Pakistan on the hunt in tribal areas after 8 years of inaction; top militants killed in Somalia, Pakistan and Afghanistan and terror plots foiled at home (no administration official holds a news conference to brag about it); unprecedented global coordination on global economic slowdown, expansion of the G-20; a speech in Cairo credited in part with supporting the election of a pro-western candidate in Lebanon and inspiring the opposition and election protests in Iran (weakening Iran in the region and forcing Syria to open up diplomatic channels); and progress for the 1st time in 40 years on health care reform, including pledges from healthcare industry groups for hundreds of billions in cost cuts

Obama also takes opportunity to mention how much he enjoyed vacation in Martha's Vineyard, and praise state's world-class healthcare system, world-class university system, low crime rates, high education and GDP per capita, and 5% state income tax

in handing MVP trophy to Kevin Garnett, he takes off White Sox cap and puts on Celtics cap:
"Congratulation, Champ.  We're all Celtics now."

Yeah. Hard to argue with that. I'm not sure why Obama would take the opportunity to list accomplishments while celebrating the Celts, but maybe I'm being too literal

Oddly enough this thread made me want to learn the lyrics of the "battle hymn of the republic"

That was in my head for the last 12 hours. It's depressing and hard to get out. I deserve it

My mom always cries when she hears it cause she heard it at a funeral or something

We've got a pretty cool history in this country.
