I live out of the area and was wondering if anyone out there gets DTV and lives out of the area.

On both of the 1st 2 games I am being blacked out on channel 630.  Are you?  I do not think this has ever happened before.  Ideas?

I am in Florida and get Direct TV.  They have never blacked out the preseason games and DTV always had the Preseason games.   I have written to Comcast and Mike and Tommy (no reply) and I have written to League Pass (they said they never cover preseason)  I wrote to DTV and they just give me a lot of double talk about local stations having exclusive rights and they don't cover preseason on LP.  So for the first time since I got DTV 4 years ago, I'm not getting the preseason games.

Must be something new this year...blacking out pre-season.  They started this for the NFL about 5 years ago.  They do it when the local station complains.

I am surprised that I have had this question posted for a day and only 1 person is out there that is "out of the Boston area" and has Direct TV.  That is amazing to me.  I thought the C's were a national team and this forum is the best I've seen on them.

I am in upstate NY and the above applies here.  I have had NBA league Pass from the start and always got all the preseason games, this year even after signing up for the sports package I only get the pre-season games for the Nets and Knicks--several calls to DTV and only one person so far has even understood what I am talking about--very frustrating--I canceled my league pass saying there was no benefit to signing up early--now have until November 3rd to resign
