Now would you like to see him back in a celts uniform?

before he went to Toronto and became crazy and thought of himself as a star player, he was a very very effective role player.

I wish he hadn't gone crazy but he's not even close to as crazy as Marbury, he fits alot of criteria of a backup pg that we need, he's a lights out 3 point shooter(although numbers dont back it up from past few seasons, i believe he still is), good defender. I didn't seem him play at all last year, not sure if he lost a step or anything but it seems all mental with him. Has experience with KG. He has shown ability to attack the basket as well.

Now I have no link to this rumour because it's pure speculation. yeahh...I think he'll want out of washington and washington will be glad to save a few bucks by buying him out. Seems like a no-brainer decision. Washington is too deep with Gilbert, Foye, Crittenton at pg....

He's kind of got a big contract for the limited role he'd play. I believe it's expiring, but I don't see an incentive other than to clear a roster spot. Hopefully our own expirings will fetch something before the deadline.. Something a little more than Mike James.

If he was released, though I'd be all over him.

The thing is, with Eddie as main back up for the 1-2 positions, you don“t need another shooter and Mike James“strength is his shot and his ability to create it. In case we signed someone else, I think it would be more suitable to get a more classical PG, a distributor and ball handler. James has always been more a shoot first guy, and at his age I doubt he will change dramatically.

Eddie House is a better point guard than Mike James.

We need a back up three to play the wing position. No more point guard talk...Especially bad point guard talk.

there are reports that he is playing very very well in camp and that he is looking young again..

OO and I don't think the Celtics should trade for him, but if he was ever bought out....

Let me guess...  those reports coming from either the team that's looking to unload him, or perhaps his agent?

Mike James, the homeless man's Iverson.
