He sounds like Chris Lofton with less range.  If we really need a player like this in training camp, just grab Lofton.

Spurs Waive Jack McClinton

 The San Antonio Spurs announced today that they have waived guard Jack McClinton.

The 6-1, 185-pound, McClinton was drafted by San Antonio in the second round of the 2009 NBA Draft, 51st overall. He was signed on 9/14.

The Spurs roster stands at 18.

I for one think we should give him invite to camp...I mean if he isn't good enough then we're back to where we are now. He is similar to Eddie House but to me a better ball-handler.

Hmm, a guy that can shoot with a better handle than House?  Doesn't that describe Pruitt who we cut?  I believe Pruitt could defend as well. 

I don't think we need to bring in Pruitt-lite.
