I got it! I got it! I got it! So here's what happened...

I switched from Comcast to DirecTv...blahblahblah
Had some CHOICE package, but was getting NBA TV free somehow...
Started storming, power went out, and lost NBA TV...SO...
I called DirecTv, and got the run around with them. Got in a nice argument with the "supervisor"(THAT WAS FUN) and called the Presidents office. In the end, I got NBA League Pass.
No, I did not get any special deal, but I convinced myself that seeing 7 or more Celtics games per month was worth the money...But my wife is bound to cuss me out when we get the bill
Can't stop, Rondo!

NBA League pass is awesome and I think it saves me money!  I watch most of the games which means I stay in a lot more than I used to.  Being able to watch all the Celtics games from the midwest is awesome!

Well, that's something I'd love to know as well cuz I live in Europe and there is no other way to access to all the games we give this year...
Last year I watched almost 90 Celtics' games including playoffs(well, I cant tell u where I watched them), but the broadcast quality sucked and some games I didnt watch them because I wasnt able to do so,even though I wanted to...
so I guess the nba league pass would be a great deal for about 120 euros...

20 dollars off right now, so 4 payments of 41.99 or 1 payment of 167.96.

I have had League Pass through DTV for several years and they always automatically renew my subscription before the season.

woow, that's about 117 euros, I was so close to my prediction... ;)
It's a pretty good deal for a whole season, I'm looking forward to be able to subscribe too, I have got no notifications from nba.com so I guess I have to wait a little more...

I have Comcast as well as DTV.  Our Comcast didn't have NBA-TV and they never had the League Pass subscriptions until just before the season. I got DTV for just the TV that I watch games on and got the Sports package and I love it because I get CSNE also for the pre and post game shows and the preseason games.  Although DTV does include the pre and post game shows with League Pass most of the time.  Comcast used to shut it off directly after the game.

I also like that DTV breaks the payment up in to 4 installments instead of having to shell it out all at once.

The only drawback with DTV is that if it rains really hard during a game, we lose the signal but now that they include broadband along with the subscription, you can just watch online until the signal comes back.
