Imagine if Robinson was injured the same time he was with the Spurs and we got Duncan like we should have all along? That's like 7 championships right there  :o

I remember it being the Lakers that Robinson was rumoured to join if he passed on the Spurs. They had a huge amount of cap space and would have been offering him Kareem's position with the team. He'd then team up with Worthy and Magic to make another dynasty.

Whether it was LA or Boston, one thing is for sure and that's that Robinson would have brought titles to either team. He was incredible.

This reminded me of an article I read in 1994... http://www.nytimes.com/1994/07/26/sports/pro-basketball-celtics-imagine-jordan-draped-in-green.html

Quote
"I'll shag balls for him. I'll do anything. Please, Michael, come to Boston."

Thata quote by ML Carr was especially good. Too feel too bad, ML. I would have shagged balls to see Jordan in green, too.

Never heard of Robinson thinking about coming here... Only problem with this whole "what is" scenario is that Antoine isn't involved in our dynasty  :P

haha, but "if" David Robinson came here, would Antoine not being involved in our dynasty be such a big deal? i lean towards yes, antoine's the man  ;D
nawwwwwwwwww we all know that DA never liked Antoine, and of course he said that while he was doing commentary for some sports channel and all it took was for him to become Antoine's boss, and he set his ass free
