I read in yahoo sports that Carlos Arroyo is trying to come back to the NBA after one year playing overseas (Maccabi Tel Aviv) and M.Spears reports that 6 teams are showing interest in him. Since we are looking for a back up PG and Gabe could be gone by August 1st, what do you guys think about the Arroyo possibility?. I have to admit that I haven't seen him play that much but his numbers playing for Orlando aren't bad at all. I don't know how much  he's expecting to command or if his rights still belong to the Magics but if he is an UFA and willing to make the vet minimum i would give him a shot. What do you guys think?. Can House or Hudson fill that void?

Dont steal my picture that . . . aint cool.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

He wouldn't be bad to have.  I still question whether he'd actually crack a meaningful rotation: I still think if House is going to play, House is going to play "point guard" (even if Daniels or someone else brings the ball up the court).  The real question then is whether Arroyo can supplant with his play making what House does shooting the ball.  Honestly, I'm not sure he does that.  Two years ago when Rondo had yet to prove he can play more than 25 mpg, Arroyo would've been really useful.  But now that Rondo will play 38-40 mpg in games that matter, I think we can get by with the House/Daniels duo for 8-10 mpg.  Especially when you consider the havoc Paul Pierce could unleash on opposing defenses if he's on the court with House, Allen, KG, and Sheed.  There'd be no way to double him and he could destroy teams off the dribble.

Still, Arroyo would be a nice luxury to have.  If Rondo went down for a few weeks, he'd be a lot of help.  I'm just not sure that if everyone is healthy he'll actually play.

He's not that good in the NBA game. International style, like in FIBA and all that, he was good for his team. Backup PG? pass
Can't stop, Rondo!
