What a disaster!

Wake had a pretty good line in Pawtucket tonight.

5.1 IP, 2 H, 1 ER, 4 K, 82 Pitches.

Yeah Penny was bad, and Bowden was brutal.  Ugly, ugly game in general.  The only bright spot was that the Sox were able to get into their pen.

I like when things are going well, Wake is always the first guy people bring up to take out of the rotation, but in times like these, it is clear we REALLY need him. Penny had an 'okay' start to his Sox career, but he has been so bad lately- and consistently really bad, like everytime. I know Smoltz was bad, too, but I would have rather kept him around...

Meh, the way things are going, it doesn't matter.  There's no way we can beat the Yankees in the post-season - if we even make it - so Wakefield or not we're Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.ed.

Pretty awesome having Wake back tonight, to say the least.
