I'm interested to see what this means for Felton.  With Iverson and Augustine in the fold, I can't really see them giving him a lot of money.  If no other team wants him then he could always sign the QO, but I think this could open up some opportunities for other teams to go after him.

Larry Brown thinks he can recreate the 76ers with an aging AI and in Charlotte of all towns?

He got the Bobcats to be the 7th best Points per Possessions defensive team last year (up from 20th the year before).

We'll see if AI's offense can help or at the very least offset the loss of Okafur.

Well, A.I could still sign elsewhere, and the Grizzlies have just made him an offer (RealGM from AI's Twitter) :

Quote
The Grizzlies made free-agent guard Allen Iverson a contract offer on Tuesday.

"Well I am about to begin another workout session. Agent informed me that Memphis made us an offer on yesterday. Stay tuned," Iverson wrote on his official Twitter page Wednesday morning.

Maybe A.I just wants to show that the Bobcats are not the only team interested in him even though he is still going to sign with them. ::)

I'm hoping he signs with the Bobcats, since I have tickets to the Sixers-Bobcats game in November.  The return of AI and Larry Brown to Philly would be a fun game.
