lol of course I would like to have BBD but if we loose him I <3 Donyell Marshall. Maybe I just like screaming DOOOOONYEEEEELLL

I dunno. Last year I would have agreed, but I really think he's past his prime and past what's after that. I'd rather give minutes to Scalabrine. Now if we lost Scal, then YES, sign Marshall b/c I like bigs that can shoot 3s

I used to really like his game and about 4 years ago thought he would make a great 6th or 7th man.  But I agree with the above posters that Scal brings more now than Marshall does.  That said, if there is some big trade that ships Scal and a bunch of other pieces, and the Cs need warm bodies, Donyell would be worth a look...

About 6-7 years ago he was a good player and would have been a great complement to our bench. Now he should be retired.

For a few years in his career, he was really good, combining good outside shooting and pretty impressive rebounding numbers.  I think age and lack of conditioning have caught up to him, though. 

So I wouldn't advocate for him on the team now, but if we had a time machine...

Actually, if we had a time machine, going back to get 2004 Donyell would probably fall pretty low on the list.

No.  All he offers is range at this point.  So does Scal.  But Scal plays better defense.
