Any deal with NJ for BBD has to include a big in my book. Dooling is nice and all, but we need another big if we lose Davis.

I think Indiana would not take Giddens or Walker but not 'just' Tony Allen with Pruitt and that is the snag to getting Daniels via the S&T.

Personally believe a backup PG is more important than a 3rd PF.

How about this trade IF we have a prearranged agreement to sign Joe Smith for the LLE?

To Boston: Kenyon Dooling, Marquis Daniels
To NJ: Glen Davis, Tony Allen
To Indiana: Jarvis Hayes, protected 2nd rounder (from NJ)

Then our roster would look like this.

pg: Rajon Rondo - Kenyon Dooling - Lester Hudson
sg: Ray Allen - Eddie House - JR Giddens
sf: Paul Pierce - Marquis Daniels - Bill Walker
pf: Kevin Garnett - Joe Smith - Brian Scalabrine
c: Kendrick Perkins - Rasheed Wallace - Shelden Williams

this variation has been bounced around, and i like it -- tho i would not do the joe smith signing -- i would add bowen for the LLE and look to trade scal and giddens / walker for another big.
