I have to agree. The dog is only gonna reach age 15 at best, so you are going to see it die eventually. I also need my fingers for work (and playing ball).

And how are they animal lovers if they stole dinner from the poor alligator?

not necesarily if the owner dies before ;)
i agree with the aligator part
