I'm sure most people here already know this, and this is probably old news. But I figured I would start this topic, anyway, since there has been been talk about this kid on here before. Here is the link http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?page=090716vegassummerleaguegswnorrecap

This kid can flat out score. I think Nelson needs to find more time for him.

Wow. this kid is going to be good. Dare I say he reminds me of Ray (earlier in his career).

  • Eagerly Awaiting the Next Fantasy Draft
The Warriors have a good young Nucleus with him, Steph Curry, Randolph (who tied the summer league scoring record a few days before), Monta Ellis, and Biedrins. I bet by the deadline they are looking to shed the salary of Maggette, or Stephen Jackson.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

  • Rondo = Good
Golden State should be a solid team this year, maybe even a playoffs 7 or 8 seed.  Whether that happens with their wacky coaching strategy and jumbled management...well, that's the question.
Never forget the Champs of '08, or the gutsy warriors of '10.

Good luck to them finding a buyer on that Maggette contract.  Thing is hideous.

Lets settle down now. They aren't on that level yet.

Morrow and Randolph are both great prospects(particularly Morrow) but haven't shown any consistency as of yet.

They'll be in the top 10 in the west but their whole team is just chuckers who NEED shots.

The lineup of:
PG- Ellis
SG- Morrow
SF- Randolph
C- Biedrins

Has amazing TALENT, but would never be a great team.

This team can score with anyone, but they have no defensive stoppers and no distributors.

I can't see them beating out any of these teams:
Lakers
Spurs
Nuggets
Mavericks
Hornets
Jazz
Trailblazers
Suns
.....and my sleeper pick for the 8th seed OKC....

Given there is a major drop off between the top 7 teams in the west and the rest of the conference, I can see why you condsider them a possible playoff team, I just don't see it happening.

I love the warriors, but I don't see anything materializing until Don Nelson takes a new job,is fired, or retires. I am a strong believer that his system doesn't work for much more than fan service.
