The corpse of Bruce Bowen?  Not interested.  I don't think anybody would speak up against it but Danny's not dumb enough to go out of his way to get a nearly-40 Bruce Bowen.  At least not for more than the minimum.

Plus, he hasn't even been bought out yet.

Nah, look at Artest and Kobe.  You can be worst enemies on the court, but all the more reason to get that person on your team, so you don't have to deal with playing against them.

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

He's slipped out of Pop's rotation and had enough problems that if waived there's no chance of getting him back.

Pop was one of his fewest defenders. After this, I don't know why people would want him at all.

He should just pull a Mark McGwire and go hide somewhere and hope that Sportcenter doesn't run him in their top 10 dirtiest athletes when his retirement is finally announced.

Can't sign this guy.  No need, and better/young talent out there for the same price.  Let him go hide.
