Jailbreak your Iphone, Celtics style!

Hey, I just had to share this. I'm sure many of you have heard of this, or maybe have already done it yourself, but I just thought it was too cool to not share with this great community.

Jailbreaking is not some illegal hack, it simply opens up your phone so that you can customize it like other smartphones. It also allows for people to write free apps, that apple might not deem "worthy", and design custom themes for it, like some of the screens down below. Seems pretty dumb to me that apple would not allow you to do some of the things that a jaibroken iphone/itouch can do out of the box.  This is not a Pro Hacking thread, nor do I condone any illegal internet activity.

So after two years with At&t,(1st Gen Iphone owner) and buying a new 3GS, once the redsnow software came out, I was ready to try it, and I haven't been able to put down my phone ever since.

So anyway hope I'm not looking like some rogue hacker here, just merely wanted to spread the message.

Just do a search for redsnow on google.  That will point you towards the software needed to unlock, which may be different for a Itouch 2g.  Make sure you read everything, and do your research first, but it's definitely worth it.

I like that a lot - its sweet!  I would upload my iphone background (banner 17 being raised) but I don't know how to upload pics into posts...

I've thought about jailbreaking my iphone.  One thing all should know before this thread leads you all to jailbreak your iphones is that while biggs says that jailbreaking is not illegal, apple considers it a form of "tampering" and if you bought the warranty with your iphone, apple will not honor that warranty if they find that you tampered with your iphone at all.  That is what dissuaded me from doing it.  I'm a 1st gen owner and on my 3rd or 4th iphone now all gotten free through my warranty.
