Take it with a grain of salt with what the source said. Not sure if LeBron was just making an empty sales pitch to get Trevor Ariza to come to the Cavs, but as a C's fan, I do not want him to stay in Cleveland. I feel like his best chance to win a title in the next few years is in Cleveland.

It has to be about the only way to convince FA to sign with Clev.  Why sign a multi-year contract with Clev when the best player is about to leave?

Ya this means nothing to me.  The only good thing is that once he settles down we will stop having to hear about it all the time

I agree, it does get a little tiring listening to every team that has no shot at a title talk about how they are freeing up room for him even though it's really a 2, maybe 3 pony race at best.  I take this with a grain of salt, just like when Hedo was suposed to sign with POR.  Ariza going to CLE doesn't scare me that much anyway.  No one else on that team touches the ball, and they were already good at defense.  Maybe if Ariza played a SMART PG, then I would be a little more frightened...

I'll take that with a grain of salt too.  Obviously, he can't come out and say, "I'm gone after this season" or all heck would break lose and this season could likely become a lost cause.

Either none of the free agents are buying that he will be there past 2010, they don't want to play with Lebron, or they just don't think Cleveland has a legitimate chance to win.
