first come, first take. Sheed, we need to know soon or we're moving on.

With LA and Cleveland stockpiling, how long does Danny wait?

Ooops...didn't see Ariza to Houston...Thought he was headed to Cleveland. Cavs still have Shaq and Lakers got Artest.

McDyess or Marion? Marion could back up at 3 and 4, maybe we sign a backup 5 with the LLE?

Dice backs up 4 and 5, but is undersized at 5. I am intrigued by Dice, but also think Marion would be great with Rondo in the open floor and would speed up our team.

Thoughts?

  • Rondo = Good
If Sheed isn't coming here, I'd much rather focus our efforts on Marion...it's possible we could still sign a decent backup C and resign BBD if we get Marion.

How about Oberto or Nesterovich to backup Perk, sign Marion to MLE and re-sign BBD.

Sign Marbury to back up Rondo.

I think pressuring Wallace with a quick deadline will turn him away from the Celtics.

Hopefully The C's are in talks with other FA's. Ainge surely is not putting all his eggs in the Sheed basket. I would like to think that he has also reached out to Dice, Zaza, Marion, and others, while also looking at potential trade scenario's with our expiring deals to shore up the bench.
