The problem is not with what Jennings said, it is what he's listening to. I hope he doesn't call that clown a friend. This whole thing makes Jennings look more dumb than it does a hoodlum. What is the world coming to?

But I already can't stand the guy. Sure, it's okay to be confident but now dude has been caught talking out the side of his next two different times. He has not accomplished a d@Mn thing and he is acting like he is the next best thing since sliced bread.

All I see with Jennings is a bunch of hype. He'll be out of the league in four years and will be playing with Mark Jackson's brother on the And 1 circuit.

& its also funny how Joe Budden just totally ignores everything his girl is saying about Rubio. Hahah just gives her a look and looks away, even asks her to get him some apple pie lol!

Are you guys serious? If anything i'm IMPRESSED by Brandon Jennings here.  Budden is basically baiting Jennings the entire time and calls Scott Skiles an "****" for really no reason since he's probably never even seen the guy, but Jennings backs Skiles and sounds genuinely OK with playing in Milwakee - which is saying something.  Jennings also says he's trying to "make somthing of himself" and is just hating on the Knicks because they passed on him.  Isn't that the type of attitude you like to see in a kid? 

The only person i'm not enamored with in this exchange is Budden.  He talks about cheating on his girl with Jennings while she's sitting right there and he takes audio/video of a candid conversation w/ a "friend" all well trying to get him to say something controversial - HE'S the ass.

I think the hate here is because of the language used during the call and just the general tone of it all.  You don't think the majority of players in the NBA interact the same way with their friends and with eachother?

Budden was just tryin to bait the kid as most everyone else was saying...fool.  For those who dont know, the man on camera (Joe Budden) is a washed up rapper from New Jersey.  He had 1 hit song called "Pump It Up" around 2003, on an album that only went gold.  His career was eventually destroyed by Compton, CA native rapper The Game. 

Jennings doesn't need to hang around with a clown like Budden. He seems as if he is one of those individuals whom is just looking to be affiliated with the NBA by means of knowing a player.  Honestly, the Lebron & Jay-Z tandem is the perfect example of the type of music personality that an athlete should be affiliated with.  Jay-Z is 100% pure business, professional, where he & Lebron can make money off of eachother, not a washed up bum like this idiot, whom is probably looking to get his name back on the scene.
